Here’s a quick and poignant exercise from FranklinCovey that will help you further define yours: https://www.franklincovey.com/msb/missions/login

Vision

Stephen Covey’s idea of “start with the end in mind” is highly useful. The “end in mind” is your lifetime vision. The FranklinCovey website has some very useful mission- (vision-) building tools at the following link: https://www.franklincovey.com/msb/

Aligned Action

Of all the so-called time-management courses I have taken, I found the FranklinCovey workshop called “FOCUS: Achieving Your Highest Priorities Time-Management Workshop” to be the single most effective tool. It goes way beyond time management. Although I’ve altered it substantially to suit me, it has been of immense value and I highly recommend it. It will give you the structure and tools you need to implement all of this while also allowing you to customize it to your working style.
